2027 federal holidays

These are the days off for most federal employees in 2027, as listed by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM). They are the "observed" dates: when a holiday falls on a Saturday, the Friday before is the day off, and when it falls on a Sunday, the Monday after is the day off.

The calendar pages shade the day off and write the holiday's name in that box. When a holiday itself falls on a weekend (June 19, July 4 and December 25 in 2027), its name is also written on that weekend day, without the darker shading.

Banks, schools, post offices, state and local governments and businesses set their own schedules, and some follow different days. Other observances, such as Easter, Mother's Day and the start and end of daylight saving time, are not marked. Check with the place you are planning around.
