Free Large Print Puzzles for Seniors
Big Print Brain Games offers free printable puzzles with large print and big squares. Print them at home on A4 or US Letter paper. Every sheet comes with the answers on a separate page.
They are easy on tired eyes and simple to hand out, whether you are solving at the kitchen table or running an activity at a senior center.
Choose a puzzle
- Large print sudoku (40 puzzles): squares about 2 cm (3/4 inch) wide. Four levels from Beginner to Hard, 10 puzzles each. Every puzzle comes with a hint.
- Math worksheets (30 sheets): addition, subtraction, two-digit sums, times tables, fill-in-the-blank and money problems. 5 sheets of each kind.
- Mazes (20 sheets): bold lines and big squares. Four levels from Easy to Very Hard, 5 mazes each.
Every puzzle is checked
We make the puzzles with software, and a program checks each one before it goes on the site.
- Sudoku: each puzzle has exactly one solution, and you can solve it by logic alone, without guessing. The program works through every puzzle step by step, the way a person would.
- Math: every answer is computed and checked by the program.
- Mazes: each maze has exactly one path from Start to Finish.
Using the puzzles at home or in a group
- Plan on about 10 to 20 minutes per sheet. Start with an easier level and move up when it feels comfortable.
- Hand out the puzzle pages first. Give out the answer pages afterward, so no one sees the answers too early.
- A pencil with an eraser works best, especially for sudoku.
- Families, senior centers, care homes and classrooms are welcome to make copies for their own use. Please do not sell the puzzles or republish them on other websites or in publications.
- These puzzles are a relaxing activity and a gentle mental workout. They are not a medical or health product.
