Who we are

Big Print Brain Games is run by the Big Print Brain Games editors, a small independent team. We make free printable puzzles in large print for older adults, their families and caregivers.

How the puzzles are made and checked

The puzzles are made with software, and a program checks every one before we publish it.

• Sudoku: the program confirms that each puzzle has exactly one solution. It also solves each puzzle the way a person would, trying the easiest technique first, to make sure it can be finished by logic alone, without guessing. The level is set by the hardest technique the puzzle needs. The hint for each puzzle is written by the program as well.
• Math worksheets: every answer is computed and checked by the program.
• Mazes: the program checks that every square connects and that there are no loops, so there is exactly one path from Start to Finish.

These puzzles are made for enjoyment, as a relaxing activity. They are not a medical or health product.

Copying and sharing

Families, senior centers, care homes and classrooms may copy the puzzles for their own use. Please do not sell them or republish them on other websites or in publications.

Feedback

If you spot a mistake or have a request, please use the feedback form. We read the messages and use them when we make fixes. We do not send personal replies.

Advertising

The site may show ads or affiliate links in the future. If it does, they will be clearly labeled.

Privacy

• Analytics: no analytics tool is installed on this site yet. We use Google Search Console for search statistics, such as how often our pages appear in search results and how often they are clicked. It does not tell us who you are. If we add an analytics tool, we will name it on this page.
• Feedback form: when you send the form, we store what you type: the type of message, your text, the page you came from and the time. It is kept for up to 1 year on Cloudflare servers in the United States. We do not store IP addresses. Please do not include your name, email address, phone number or other contact details.
• Changes: we may update this policy. Any changes will be posted on this page.
